What does this role look like?
You will be responsible for responsible for tasks related to preventive and corrective maintenance on the company equipment fleet, such as inspection damage, fit-up, preparation, repair, parts requests, and welding, vendor Management and task related.
Some of your main responsibilities will be:
You will oversee the inspection and repair all container parts (dry equipment,reefer equipment, gensets & van.
you will perform inspection and repair all chassis parts and proper replacement of its components such as tires, brakes, lights, landing gear and other structural members.
You will oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of power equipment such as forklift, top loader, power packs, yard trucks and other related equipment.
You will be resposible of the housekeeping of the Container yard, perform inspection to the estimates and repairs done by the vendor.
You will coordinate road rescue and coordinate asistance at the cutomer facilities, responsible to follow up of all internal SOP and guarantee the fulfilment.
you will make sure to gurantee the EPP usage and all the safety measures implemented and look for safety improvement throught the near miss
Must-haves:
High school is required, a technician diploma in mechanics, electricity or welder.
3 - years proven experience as welder and mechanic or similar position.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
Bi-lingual (English / Spanish)

Working Conditions
Normal office environment. We'll set you up with proper equipment. Extended use of computer keyboard and monitor-viewing. You may have to sit for long periods of time.

The position is Non-Exempt. May require the ability to work overtime to meet required deadlines. Must comply with all work rules, including those that pertain to safety and health.
