We have a fantastic opportunity within Unit4 for a Power BI Application Manager to join at our office in Granada. As an Application Manager you are responsible for managing the Power BI application at Unit4. You figure out what specific applications are needed to improve the business operations, and supervise the installation, upgrading and daily maintenance of Power BI at Unit4.
What you will do • Assess business process requirements, database structures, metrics and reporting requirements; • Manage system hardware and application software implementation and upgrades; • Troubleshoot problems with the software; • Create processes and protocols for software.

We want great people who want to be part of great teams. • ICT related Bachelor level of knowledge and experience in a similar function; • Strong communication skills and fluent in English (verbal and written) • Experience in Developing Power BI Reports and Dashboards Experience in creating and deploying parameterized reports using Power BI; • Experience in creating hierarchies in Power BI reports using Data visualizations like bar charts, line charts, pie charts, and forecast charts; • Able to create a data extract to populate the BI data set; • Ability to create custom metrics based upon the data; • Create "out of the box" type dashboard visualizations and custom visualizations using R-Script Visualization; • Experienced in Creating DAX Expressions, create Date to Yearly columns and implement partitions in Tabular Models for Power BI; • Experience on publishing Power BI reports of dashboards in Power BI server and scheduling the dataset to refresh for upcoming data in power BI server; • Experience in generating Drill through and Drill down reports with Drop down menu option, sorting the data, and defining subtotals in Power BI; • Experience on Power BI authorization structure (e.g. Role Level Security) in a complex organization; • Experience working with an Enterprise Data Warehouse (in addition on interact/knowledge on database structure); • Knowledge of programming (SQL); • Experienced with AGILE ceremonies (User Story Grooming, Sprint Planning, Sprint Refinement, Sprint Retrospective , Sprint Review and Stand-up); • Knowledge and able to groom user stories and make accurate estimates through story points; • Experience in working with other teams of specialists and Business users; • Creating (low level) design documents (for ETL from functional/mapping specifications); • Experience on Testing, Performance Tuning and Query optimization.
