Escuela Ceiba is an alternative education collective in León, Nicaragua, which offers a multicultural, secular and respectful space where children explore learning in
creative, cooperative and meaningful ways. Using methods such as Montessori, play and art, we respect each child’s rhythm of learning, encouraging creativity and critical thinking.

Escuela Ceiba is authorized by the Nicaraguan Ministry of Education for preschool and primary school. For the 2020 school year, we will offer multi-level preschool and primary school through third grade.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Give English classes to the primary school and preschool groups, as well as classes in English for some primary school subjects.
- Give extracurricular English classes in the afternoons for children.
- Develop lesson plans and give classes in accordance with Escuela Ceiba’s educational philosophy and model, and in collaboration with the rest of the educational team.
- Plan and participate in curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Plan and participate in parent meetings.
- Participate in ongoing training.
